Polishing glasses... C-RAA-CKKK

Today started work at 9am. Like nobody around lol.. Total no. of banquet ppl today is 24, according to the namelist.

Office there de namelist indicates that I and 3 other guys are under stewarding.
Yes. Stewarding.
I was like "AR?! Do what?!"  Then a plain answer: polish glasses.
I then was "ok....."

Then saw the 8 trolleys with at least 7 racks of glasses each. 4 trolleys with racks of 16. The other 4 are racks of 25. Woah thats like alot of glasses! Sat in the ballroom and polished till noon, then lunched and then continue to polish till 6pm before we had dinner and polished till 8pm, then knocked off.. Bored work, but pay good. xD

Its amazing how the glass can withstand some knocks against the table without a scratch, yet can crack into pieces with us wiping the inside of the glass with a napkin...

Was playful for a moment and took one high ball glass, which has a very thick glass at the bottom, and one bucket of ice water, tried to crack it by heating it in the boiling water and immediately put in the ice water.. Its either the glass is not "cooked" long enough, or it is of high quality that nothing happened...

Its totally rotting at work. At first, this slack-work is quite erm, attractive. But anything, in big amounts, is bad. So it was getting annoying that the glasses seem to be getting more and more dirtier, that is, the dishwashers did not wash them properly so we have to polish more thoroughly... -.-

Everything must be in moderation.

On the way to Cityhall MRT, saw Sinyi and friends, we like met on the escalator at Suntec but in opposite directions lol... Talked for that few seconds and went our separate ways.. Anyways, took train back to jurong east cos i wanna buy Spore: Galactic Edition. The sim-everything, which is actually what the developers want to name it but stuck with the working name, spore, so as not to mix with the huge franchise Sims and also to maybe create a new legacy?

Tried the demo so was hooked so bought the game.

Sounds impulsive? Actually, YES.

I think I'm too impulsive for my own good sometimes. Should I say what I said last night? I am still in a whirl... This do first regret later mindset must go away... Goawaygoawaygoaway..... *chants*
