Today worked 5.30pm.. Since I need to walk the outer perimeter of Ritz to reach the security post, saw bomb disposal vehicle and some police vehicles.. Thought to myself " Shit tonight must be some big shot's son/daughter de wedding.. " How true man... Then reached at around 4.30pm and had dinner.. Saw Wee Teng, Chi Lung, Darren and some of their classmates.. [Sorry if i forgot your name.. Me STM.. D:] Told Chi Lung and some of them their sideburn cmi lol.. During spotcheck I think manager got tell them to cut ba..
Kira also came back to work today.. Talked abit also and then went to ballroom.. Hongjie, whom we saw later, also came back to work today.. Haha, good that there's people I know working.. Can talk ma.. Saw the number of ministers appearing.. wah lao, proness loh..
There is Mr. Jayakumar, Mr. Wong Kan Seng, Mr. George Yeo, Mr. Mah Bow Tan, Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Mr. Vivian Balakrisnan and maybe a few others whom I forgot their names.. They're spread around 8 VIP tables and there's one host table in the middle.. 8 groups, which have 1 VIP and 3 normal tables are the groups who have to take note many more things.. D:
Heng the group I kena is not in the VIP tables. I kena one that is near the back corner of the ballroom.. Which is quite good, somemore I have 3 normal tables and 1 reserve table lol.. BUT the sway thing is I'm the only guy in the group! lol..
Then one of my group member, auntie Lily, was worried I cmi, so ask our in charge, Andrew to find another guy for my group. heng found one, somemore its Chi Lung! haha, same coursemate, easy to communicate la.. So I taught him some of the ropes and asked him not to carry so much as he 1st day and etc..
The Singaporean bride is marrying a Swiss guy whom they met at work and yadda yadda..
There's like 7 courses in total, and western somemore.. Luckily the utensils I prepared earlier was not "stolen" unlike some other sway groups.. So operation was quite smooth.. Just that during 3rd and main [5th] course de plates were stacked until so much that Chi Lung can't carry [yet] so I carry lo... Machiam the teacups de weight also.. D: Teacups today need 30 only, so its quite a breeze.. Somemore I don't need to worry about auntie and the other girls as they're quite experienced..
Saw the police eating our peanuts and chips and drinking coke lol.. And one of them is checking his phone for sms.. So vigilante ar... Actually, cox their superior, who is a woman, was not there so they slack lol...
Tonight's appetiser is seafood if I'm not wrong, then there's this soup with onion paste, then some dish as a starter before main course, then lime soubet or something.. Forgot the spelling, but it is pronounced SOBE, as in the soy drink.. Then is the main course of Cajun Chicken and a big juicy prawn! omg.. Then is dessert of some berries, a slice of cake and some pudding with whipped cream on top. Lastly is the petit four, which is 4 kind of chocolate with 3 each. There's white chocolate, brown chocolate, dark chocolate and green tea chocolate lol..
White chocolate is energy boost, brown chocolate revitalises you and dark chocolate keeps you awake.. xD
Anyways, the 3 traditional yum-seng toasts were quite funny.. 1st and 2nd are the normal marital bliss etc.. The 3rd one is the funny one.. The host said this one must catch their breath as it must be the loudest.. xD Simple reason, this toast is to wish them to procreate, and according to the host, not 1, not 2, but 5! Yes, FIVE! HAHA.. I heard that I smile.. [in ballroom can't laugh ma.. xD] Then the host continued "The 1st 2 babies are each for the families of the bride and groom, the 3rd one is for the family itself, the 4th one is for Singapore, and the 5th one for Switzerland.." I was "LOL".. and laugh softly.. xDD
Turnover was also considered a breeze except for the mountains of dishes to bring in.. The other glasses etc were cleaned out fast. The side of my ballroom, is mostly the older generation people.. The other side is the younger and ang-moh ones.. lol.. So my side of the ballroom had the people go out very very fast.. The other side lingered for awhile before making their way..
Then it was moving of some extensions.. Almost got pricked by a wooden splint.. Lucky sio... Extension was alright compared to the oval trays.. xD
Then at midnight, can go home lo.. Sad Chi Lung was randomly chosen by Simon earlier to stay till 1am, which is to do sai gang.. lol.. SO sad 1st day must stay later.. Simon must have see the "potential" in him ba.. haha
Reached home, bathed and fed my hamster before coming in front of this com to blog.. xD
Tomorrow there's training, which I never did officially have, so can see many many TRM people! haha
