Singapore Entertainment Awards 2009

saturday was well spent. but not in finding jobs. D:

Went Gary's house in the morning to slack, and also show him the movie sekai no chuushin de ai wo sakebu.

after that, went home, bathed and chionged down to marina square, where Darren was.

saw the various artistes of perfect cut 2, around that time Yuhui smsed to ask if Show was there lol... Of course not cox its some singapore only de media fiesta...

Then Darren got an application form for casting of this upcoming show 'Fighting Spiders' on Okto if I'm not wrong. But since he's the last 2nd person at the queue and there were SOOOOO many people in front, decided to give up and have dinner.. After that went for this Singapore Entertainment Awards 2009, it was organized by SPH and other media like omy.sg etc...

Its the first awards of its kind and also at floating platform. And, the hosts said that Show will be coming for this awards.. AKA 1st time awards and 1st time Show comes for any awards presentation in SG..

Was contemplating whether or not to call Yuhui but then decided to. lol

Then was video calling her but the image was the stage... lols..

As my battery went flatter, told her that I'll call her later when he comes to perform.

2 hours, countless performances, an aching butt later

Show came out. lol

But my battery was flat already.. =.=

Thanks to Darren, cox I borrowed his battery and so 'satisfied' Yuhui's 'hunger' to see Show.. xD

Everybody was like standing up and have a camera in hand la.. hiong sia..

The performances before were not bad too.. haha I only remember some, like Joi! xD and Chen Qi Zhen, Kaira Gong [who sang a chinese song and also Utada Hikaru's First Love] etc

Basically had fun there! :D

After that took bus home [it was bludy crowded] heng my bus, 97, was not crowded.

At some stop along CBD or something [i forgot cox was psp-ing] saw Sijie and Xuanyi and said hi to them.. lol

They got off the same stop as me.

We went in opposite directions..

Along the cycle and carriage, a bus went by. At slow motion, I saw the plate number: 78.

In a split second, decided to chase the bus and thanks to 2 people getting on the bus, I managed to sprint there.

Strangely it felt faster than any sprint I have done. D:

And I was not that gasping for breath on the bus too.. =/

Thursday was rotting. nuahing. cui-ing.

Friday. Today.

Went to suntec and met up with Cal to go to the job fair in a bid to get ANY job.

Had to register... -.-

Went in, walk one HUGE round, and back near the entrance that we came in from, I saw someone familiar...

Ivan. Talked abit, saw Seetoh, then she said some TRM ppl were working there... Just stand there and direct the visitors.. Edison, Shane, Clare, Neddely, Oliver, Ariana were there too..

Oliver says he don't wanna work sunday so I can replace him! :D

Hope his boss allows.. lol

After that, went to the Media Fiesta there.. Saw Gurmit Singh, Michelle Chong, Michelle Chia, and Fiona Xie. They're having some kind of talk show and Gurmit's really funny..

Had some free popcorn too..

Saw some ex-colleagues but I doubt they recognise me so din approach..

After that, went to Jack's Place to eat. It was my first time there.. lol

Cal convinced me to go there cox she has a $10 voucher lols..

Had a set meal.. After that the bill, the waiter says if he could see the card. Which was with Cal's sis, so we forked the whole bill lo....

After that, played a Wii game on the Wii there.. The one that was empty, was the new rabbids one! :D

It was very very very fun! :D

Went to Esplanade Library to find jobs in the classifieds..

Then went up to the rooftop there [but in the shade] and called. With alot of unanswered calls, if not, it'll be position filled. D:

Soo... had a phone convo with Zhihao, then decide to go back home.. Took bus 97..

Brought unicycle, then met up with Zhihao at the bus stop.. Went to West Coast Park... Was rather cui la.. That 4 wheel pedal thingy, rents for $10 per half hour. D:

So half uni-ed half walked to the 'main' park. The sun setting was cool. :D But not as cool as the one I saw.. xD

Rotted near the sand pit.. Then went over to play with the 'flying fox' thing.. After we worked up a sweat, went to cool off at Macs.. Then went to the bus stop to wait for 176.

A bus came, it was called off service.

Another bus came, it din even bother to flash off service.

After idk how long, the bus that came finally is 176, and it is PACKED.

Managed to squeeze us and my uni in.

Alighted at JE, while Cal continued on to BP.

Topped up my card, and then bused home.. Finally had some water! Suddenly it taste so sweet! :D

Went Daniel's house today with Caledyne again.. 

Overslept more than her.. zz

But then arrived there earlier by about 5 min.. xD

Job searching was.. not good.

Plus the convo I had last night with RC colleague shows that they're cost cutting like free. D:

So if I get hired back, it's considered a blessing le. 

Mapling was fun! :D

I'm contemplating whether or not to go to unicycle tomorrow.

My value in my EZ Link card is going negative. 

If I don't, I guess I have to make it up by cycling somewhere ba.. Dang..

Then there is my ccas... I have to get 10 people who are interested in unicycling.. How? D:

Today, around 7.15pm, saw the opposite block was still very bright. Wondering why, I looked out of the window to the west. There, the crimson red Sun was setting into the horizon...

I scrambled to grab the camera and snapped a few shots of it, all the while seeing it setting down further into the horizon, proving once again that the Earth does rotate.

And then all that was left was its red glow from beneath the horizon. The clouds above were still lit by the sun, and so I took a few pictures of them too.

It was all very nice. (:
