夏祭り

夏祭り is "summer festival" in Japanese. 1st time going for such an event thanks to Gary. It is held in Changi, a Japanese Primary School, it is very big, bigger than the one at West Coast. Seriously much bigger.

Anyways, people who go summer festival in Japan are supposed to wear yukata, in Singapore, not everyone has one, so they provide rental in yukata, but in the end, rentals do get out of stock, so I din get a chance to wear it... -.-"

Theres lots of food, souvenirs and more food to buy. I bought curry rice which is not filling and costs $5 + a green tea ice cream which is delicious at $2. There are also game stations, and entertainment in the hall.. Too bad yesterday's rainy weather made it impossible to dance around in circles in the field, which is obviously wet, so we had to make do with dancing in the hall... Yes, theres a dancing segment where everyone can join in, its dam fun with the easy steps and nice songs... xD
