Finally some slack.

Work work work and finally online.

Don't really recall what happened over the past week except for work.

Thursday's Crystal Ball was v fun. 2 beverage server to 1 table, + synchro-serve. Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Damon Hill and Jamie Yeo [w bf] was there. Cool ttm. Cox of road closure gotta take transport from Millenia Walk, talked alot w JD, Amber and Jess.

Friday was the start of F1, din book in time so was sian when seeing ppl wearing paddock uniform.. D: Had around 20 secondary 3 staff from various schools with some teachers attached to us for the M1 breakfast thingy.

Freaking overstaff.

Imagine this: you and someone having breakfast with close to 20 pairs of eyes staring at you eating. Don't you feel a teeny bit uncomfortable? D:

Luckily the people assigned to my group were good. :D

Helped out in the ballroom after that..

Saturday, already lost track of time, doing the same thing. Saw Alonso with his wife. Then normal stuffs except that today the attachment kids get to try out the other side of banquet [for the guys] which is carrying heavy stuff all over the place. First was 130+ 24x500ml per carton water bottles from 1st to 2nd level. Next was slim tables from 2nd to 1st level.

The girls however, helped to set up and was overstaffed over there. Imagine 8 people doing U-shaped skirting, with some other people sitting around with nothing to do.

Sunday, same thing, then was tear down and then moving the setting to 2 other rooms, with the original room changed into some other setup. Then was assigned to standby. I'd rather move about moving stuffs than standby, because after those days of walking, suddenly you stand still at one place, you will realise all the pain start to build up and cause fatigue... D:

Luckily it was over in a short while, and we turnover-ed that room as well. After that was moving more stuffs until we were released. Rotted at canteen while waiting for F1 to start. After watching a few laps on TV, went to change and went out to watch and hear the real thing up close.

It's damn loud. VERY. It hurt my ears so have to cover when I hear one [or more] coming. I wonder how those people with cameras tahan without earplugs just for the image.

Went around Marina Square, watched the live telecast on the big screen at the atrium of Marina Square, after awhile, went home.

Monday was OC, first other OC [the prev one was paddock last year] Since it was early, we went to some kopitiam at Dunlop St. opp Sim Lim Towers, to have breakfast packed from canteen and drinks were on the driver uncle. :D

The food was made to wake us up [it had chilli inside]. So I din finish and downed a few more samosas. Went Istana and was " Wow so this is the Istana. Nice"

Packed stuffs, set up stuffs, had tons of aircon from the cupboard sized air conditioner which blows air out from ground up. Heard one guest saying about " too much carbon emmissions"
Then don't wear your suit and tie and request to turn down the air con, for the Earth's sake! Damn these scientists.

Anyway the later part of the afternoon was spent talking and sleeping.. Then dinner and we're off to work. Cocktail was alright until the later part when it got really congested, that we risk hitting on anyone from any direction. D:

Before I could go in to rest my arms, was called again to the VIP holding area to serve them. Around 1 staff to 2 guests. All never touch the food [which Aislinn and me were holding] and drinks only a little. 2 Ministers came in as well.

After that they went in to talk talk, award award, then come out for buffet dinner. It was packed. Saw the president so up close for the 1st time. xD

After the whole thing ended, the tearing down took less than an hour.

Then was the truck which we were loading have some problem. So while waiting for them to come back, we had drinks. Cola is just shiok. :D

Cheers *ting*

Back to RC, unloaded some stuffs, went to get bags and went canteen makan, then changed, then mini-bused home.

Today spent 5 hours reading a week worth of Straits Times. Whew...
