Happened to me.

Recently, stuff happened to me.

Like, I got to work in RC Club! Was super nervous at first cox the service is tip top! Was fun to the max! Saw for my own eyes what is hospitality. VERY IMPRESSED. Much better than all the theory shit we learn in school. The only thing that's good about school is when you find out how it all APPLIES IN REAL LIFE. Other than that its really boring in real life.

Then another perk is all the cool people you meet up there, be it the colleagues or the guests, they're awesome! I attempted to talk to a couple as they're reading Singapore's map. Asked them where they'd like to go and talked to them for abit. Kinda nerve wreaking but definitely fun!

Then there was the Japanese girls I saw. Two of them actually. I find out that I can just tell if someone is a Japanese 90% of the time. I guessed, then listened for abit, then confirm with a polite, nihonjin desuka? [Are you a Japanese?] That will usually shock them and I explain that I know a little Japanese, very little actually. xD

It became very useful that time when we're on the bumboat during Ruiqin's birthday. We're sitting on the outside area then this old guy walked up and sat at one empty space, asked him that question after suspecting if he's Japanese and he said yes! Tried communication but then failed cox I don't really understand. He then asked his friend to help translate.

Turns out this friend of his is a Japanese based in Singapore. And this old guy I said was some parliamentary member of Tokyo. I was HUH?! Flabbergasted totally. He gave me his namecard hahahaha. I tried to use my hospitality thing and asked him how's his stay in Singapore etc. It was an awesome feeling to use what I had learnt in real life.

Seems that exams just don't cut it out anymore.

Weird Dream.

I had a weird dream last night. [25th Aug'09]

Cox the person who was in the dream was like someone I don't really talk to and haven't talked in like 3 years? And worse [or better, depends on what perspective], we're [_________________] (how I wish blogger can have password protected posts, can't say here really. Just wanna get it off my mind)

Its so weird, can hear the voice so clearly, only the environment around us that I can't remember.

Kinda good dream though, but then.. Argh I don't know how to convey this.

Ok, HongWei, this is a good dream. Its at least 346923658648926710720934 times better than the one where you dreamt that you got GPA 1.2 for this semester right? *nods* Good.

Today was going to SP day. Wore SP shirt, for comical effect. hahahahah

Food was alright, just that ate too much before going out. LOL

Played with photoshop, didn't know it'll take up so much time, in a flash 3 hours was gone!

Played with photoshop again just now, I just finished my FIRST TWITTER SKIN!

Although from an online tutorial, it had good effects. :D

Yesterday:

BMGT lesson was zzz

Went canteen 3. Another long-time-no-go canteen.. Food was mixed economic rice.. 

After that went to LT outside there.. Saw Amy's group rehearsing.. Went to change, then went inside LT, and waited for our turn. But we know that our group will be owned, two times. Cox the 2 groups before us are from TR03 and TR22.. Both had props etc to present and were quite good. Oliver "Khor-ed" up his hair hahahah..

Anyways, presenting was okok la.. Told them that the slides were too much, even if it was trimmed by about 10 slides, still too much.. zz

Lots of "erm" killed around 1 min..

TR03 and TR22 de energy good sia.. lol

After tt, rotted at the back with Wenbin, Daohui and Alvin.. lol

Anyways, went back home, put down stuffs, took unicycle, and went to JE.

The wait for bus was hell.. Peak hour.. The first bus that came 10min after waiting at the bus stop was full. So waited another 15min before 2 buses came.. Took the double deck 78..

Reach JE, walked fast, climbed the stairs to the gantry there as many people are crowding at the escalator there..  Bought a standard ticket as EZ link not enough money.. D:

Went in, climbed up to the HW of the platform, where there was alot of people.. D:

Then more people spilled out from the North South line train.. D:

Managed to squeeze into the train when it arrive and stood there, half dozing off till Kallang, when I suddenly woke up and couldn't sleep.. zz

At tanah merah, stepped on to the platform and immediately bend my legs.. wah dam uncomfortable standing w/o moving for about 50min..

At ground level, tried around 4 times before I mounted successfully.. zzz

Cycled to the hawker centre near there first to have dinner cox it was early.. Had economical rice.. $2! :D

Bought some agar agar and a bottle of water and went to the place to rot and read newspapers..

At 8pm, many people arrived. Then we cycled around, then talked, then I took pictures AND video while cycling.. Stupid video la.. LOL  Then took video of them playing hockey cox I was rather cui after like 10min of hockey.. Back pain sio.. idk why... zz

Some other people have some random RC car which I think runs on kerosene.. Cox the exhaust was... *cough*  

The engine on standby was noisy, when it was at full acceleration was "What did you say?!"

Yea.

At 10pm, which is when the lights go out, we pack up and go to the coffee shop nearby to drink milo-ice/teh-ice, whichever we prefer.

Yesterday was talking about games.. Like console games, portable games etc etc etc.. Talk from modern to old school to the region codes lol..

After that, cycled to Tanah Merah interchange, and took train home..

At jurong east, got off, tap card, walk stairs cox one escalator is in fixing.. Then cycled all the way to the 143 there.. The time was 0016, the last bus was 0020.. D:

After calling and texting a few friends to help me iris as idk the bus code in JE..

Heng the bus arrived.. If not I gotta cycle all the way back home, which isn't exactly bad but I just wanna go home..

Alighted the bus 2 stops earlier to cycle.. From market all the way home.. Shiok..

Then reached home, bathed, read the papers, and too cui to on com so sleep..

Today, went for last LMS lesson.. Visualization, a skill I've learnt in 'theory' which is reading books but have finally used in LMS class today.. Fun sio..

Then took a class picture - CATS style - Xiaodong and another classmate should know.. haha

The teacher, Ms Anne Marie, asked what would be the best present to give to a teacher after the end of this module.. 

We didn't have the answer.

She said "It is to keep in touch."

So we thought of a good idea, ask Ms. Anne to create a facebook profile and then we create a group where only we're in.. lol

Currently there's 4 members.. 

Had lunch at makan place later..

After that, went home and rotted at Gary's place talking about shitstorms. A term he sort of coined up I guess.. 

Now I shall rot....

Textbooks and Memories

Today went to Swiss Cottage Sec with my younger brother to get some free textbooks for my siblings..

MRT to Bukit Gombak, then walk all the way there on an empty stomach D:, reached at 9am, when the doors open... -.-"

There were about 70 something people in front of us at least... But only 2 classrooms each with secondary and primary school textbooks respectively.. Some random Swiss Cottage students queued in front of us "for fun" as can be interpreted from their loud conversation.. Suaning here and there, and because there are book on racks along the queue, rummaging them [along with me and many other parents hoping to "strike gold"]

My younger brother was queueing while me rummaging through all the books.. Saw O level chem and phy 25 year series!!! I so miss the physics 25 year series I had lol...  Saw some very old syllabus de primary school textbooks.. People of or near my age, remember PETS textbook?

Some razor tv reporters were around interviewing people.. 

Oya, saw my pri sch tcher [Mdm Loh] with her daughter in the same batch as mine going in to get some free textbooks..  

Normal (Technical) textbooks are hard to get by... I suppose either the people before us took them all or there just wasn't enough people donating Normal (Technical) textbooks.. -.-"

My bro din even need to whip out any plastic bags, all just stuff in his bag, that's how little our loot were.. =/

Express/NA peeps can even get to choose the quality of book in tt 10 min, I just grab wadeva I see fit..

After that, walked back to the MRT station there de McD to have our much deserved breakfast.. Both of us had Hotcakes w Sausage... Ahh filling.. xD [But of course, with 6 margarine and 2 tubs of syrup, who wouldn't be? xp]

Chionged to school, 1 hour+ late for MAEC extra lesson... D:  Listened abit... 

Then was seeing Alvin having his brunch, his economical rice was fast come fast go sia... Its like, he left the table [behind me] then in a moment come back beside me with a full plate of rice with loads of dishes on it... Then another moment and the plate is clean..  xD

Went library to find Wax, as usual he's at level 5.. D<  As usual he koped a room.. lol..

We sort of asked him to come out and get a free seat around, but the library was rather full.. Then found this part where theres 3 adjacent seats, wah jackpot! Grabbed the seats and prepared our "workstation"

Ulric came later to jio Wax go into a study room to study, just as Wax finished packing, Ulric came to say that the room is taken back by their rightful owners.. D: They then left finding another place..

Eventually, both Alvin and my laptops were on the top, small "shelf" with our textbooks as base, so that we can write easier on the table.. Studied 3 chapters of macroecons with loads of slack in between.. D:

Then during my toilet break, went to find some photoshop books, wah cheeeeeem sio.. D: Must learn sia.. Haiiz...

Left library at 8pm.. Reach west coast area at 9pm, thanks to bus delays etc.. D: But it took us 27 min to: 

Order food

Eat our noodles

Chit chat abit

Walk to west coast de sony shop

Buy my earphone

Like time goes so slow then and so fast now vice versa.. lol

106 then 78 to prata shop have teh tarik and 2 piece of prata.. Gary came later on, then Alvin went home 1st, Gary and me went to WCPark to get McFlurry, walked and talked and took 176 to Reservoir and walked home...
