Jobless?

I think I will have more to juggle the coming term.

1) School - Thats like an understatement, but yea I've been neglecting it like how someone would smoke until he has stage 4 lung cancer, and then say WHY.

2) Work - Well work gonna be split into many many parts. Why? Cox I can see myself holding like 5 jobs at one go, but not working all in one day of course. For now, I supposedly have 2 jobs, one in Ritz Carlton as banquet, next as Mediacorp Staging [but they very very long long never call me liao haii]

Then I REALLY HOPE TO PASS THE CAMP THAT JASON INTRO cox that freelance thingy [I don't call it a job even though it potentially pays me] is soooooooooo FUN! I'm so gonna vulgarity GET IN!

Then if there's a second round of interviews for Resorts World Sentosa, [if Daniel informs me la] then voila, one more job! :D

Then if I'm confirmed to be teaching kids unicycling on friday afternoons, more stuffs!!

3) BA_COMM - Its my responsibility so I should do as much as I can. :D STAGEWERKS!! MAKE IT A SUCCESS!!

4) Unicycling - I've been really neglecting it. Damn. I have to cycle across Singapore someday, but not at the expense of my groin, so gotta train up.

See? So many things to do, so little time AND money. T.T

Natsu Matsuri 2009

First things up, nothing to do with title... PMKT's DOWN!!! Woot.

Almost couldn't finish the paper due to the stomachache which wasted me 10min and the fatigue, couldn't really get the energy to write. Then in my mind I slapped myself awoke and wrote as much as I can, at the expense of legibility of the words. D:

Went to ABC to have lunch with Gary, also take pic of our food for his project.

After that took bus 51 then 30 home to slack, since Natsu Matsuri doesn't start so early. [But we're so wrong]

Saw Sharon and her friend [couldn't remember her name!] at the bus stop. Took bus then train to expo. Lost them after we alighted the bus. lol

Walked to the coach bay at expo to take shuttle bus, saw a person on the bus but don't know where I have seen her before nor remember her name [yes again]. In the end reached there but they joined the other queue [where they had advance tickets] and we joined the queue where you had to buy tickets. Our queue was crazily long.

While walking saw this guy who looks like Eva, with silver hair. At our end of the queue, it was bloody hot. [Yes bloody.] So convinced Gary to call Eva and ask. IT WAS HIM! hoho we shamelessly cut queue. xp

After a long while and a cosplay magazine later, saw Rachel and her boyfriend with yukatas at the end of the queue, they saw me and I signalled them to come in! In the end they sort of couldn't come in so I went out and brought them in. lol Saved them lots of time. But once inside, also din see them again.

Gary went to get dressed, I roamed. Saw the girl I saw on the bus, she's Saku. lol That Gary also blur, last minute then remember who she was. lol

Roamed somemore, met up with Spidey, got food, drinks, then went to the mats there and ate dinner/enjoyed the show on the stage/talked to people. Got to know more people.. xD

The stage performance varied in quality la. xD The 'nobody' was a surprise since I din expect a korean song in a japanese festival. Oh well.

The best part was the o-bon la! That has to be the most fun part!! :D Danced to everyone in the simple [sometimes] steps. :D

Hope to get a yukata by next year.

ATRM is done!!!

ATRM is finally over!!! Man that leaves the exams before we're freeeeeeee!!

The teacher said I spoke too fast, but I wasn't nervous at all. This presentation made me feel the most prepared of all the presentations. Strange. =/

Finally got down to updating my blog..

Hmm...

The week of my birthday was filled with BANG! and GGM stuff. hahahaha

BANG! was fun! All the random flashmobs at makan place that made it totally silent for 2 seconds, and all the performances by the BA_COMMers! :D

Last week was PMKT presentation, meetings, filming, and getting sick. Got a fever and diarrhea on wednesday till friday morning. Thurs went sch for last GVSION lesson, which was a test, then rotted, then went filming. After that went to doctor and was sent to flu clinic cox had the symptoms of the dreaded H1N1. But don't have la... xD

Friday went on outing with some BA_COMMers after I felt much better. Went Singapore Flyer, but inside felt real cold and stomach started to have knots. DDD:

It was very painful, too much air inside I realised.

The ride back home, which is about 25min waiting time, 40min ride, 10min walk, 20 min waiting time, 5min ride and 5min walk. All the time with my gut churning non stop. D:

Saturday was rotting and Sunday was NDP!

NDP was great luh. Saw Tiantian on TV saying the word "prosperity" of the pledge near the start of the show. And saw Adrian leading the Scouts marching past the parade [and the cameras] LOL

Singapore Idol made me laugh, saw Jiaw inside for a few seconds. LOL

Monday was getting irritated by microsoft publisher cox it cant seem to edit. zz

Today was CEM post event sharing. Quite fun though, seeing CEM all over and also seeing what the other classes did. Was AV personnel [as usual] as well as acting as Darren [don't ask me why, I was assigned] for the skit segment. Only strange thing was TR05 din appear.. Hmm..

Have to chiong for stupid exams since I screwed up my BCOMM. Oh well.

FSB's coming. I have no camera on that day though. SO SAD. Oh well never mind, hope to catch the cosplay shoot that Gary's gonna help to cover.. xD

GGM's skit is getting better! :D And tmr going to settle GGM booth stuffs. But then have props to do siaaa.... zz

Unicycling's gonna start tmr!!! So happy and stressed... Wonder how many will come.. If you're interested just come ok? xD

Schoolwork's boring.

Next week's gonna be busy busy like a bee that's gonna sting.

Monday I HOPE that I will be free the whole day [not counting lessons]

Tuesday onwards should be the start of gruelling GGM rehearsals.

Wednesday onwards should be the start of BANG! publicity and registration.

Thursday should be tying up all possible loose ends of GGM and 2nd session of Unicycling Training.

Friday, the day before GGM, we'll have rehearsals and lots of shit that'll crop up.

And, we'll have project deadlines coming up as well. Stupid GVSION had to put an individual report on top of all these. zzz

Friday, ponned PMKT, accounting sucks, work work. COTTON ON JUST OPENED UPSTAIRS. Bought some polo tees from there. Wanted to buy a Billabong tee BUT THE STUPID NETS MACHINE OFF LE. zzz

Er… let’s start with the exams ba.. ATRM was easier than expected, except for the theory question. PMKT was ‘ARGH!’ where you know the concept but nothing comes out from your brain or you can’t link it up to the topic. Frustrating. D:

After exam, Reuben din want to go home, so the both of us, with Serena, Joanna and Azreen went to Sakae Sushi to have sushi buffet to treat ourselves, except Azreen who didn’t want to eat.  xD  I’m like damn suagu [mountain tortoise], never go to sushi buffet before.. hahahah 

Had quite a lot of plates of sushi. Reuben most bloated one, he ate a lot of plates, as well as those plates that Joanna and I shared with him. D:

The dessert was the most power-pac one. Joanna popped one frozen strawberry with ice cream inside as filling, and she was like ‘damn sour and cold and numb’, or so we infer it. xD   Can’t really hear what she is talking since the strawberry is quite big and numbing her whole mouth. xD

Reuben then took some dare from Serena I think, or was it Joanna? Anyway, he popped 2 [yes we got 2 each] at one go into his mouth and you should have seen his expression throughout the whole process. Priceless.

Next Serena and me popped one each into our mouths and started feeling numbness all over. Of course not as bad a Reuben la, he looked as if he’s in agony. D:

It is really sour at some points, other points it was just numbing cold. D:

Went to arcade and played a game which seemed fun since 2 girls played until they laughed hysterically…… lol    It’s all about throwing plastics balls at a screen, with objectives. We score like 2^nd la… Tsk. The 2 hysterical girls scored 1^st, nothing to say le… hahahah

Went to a pet shop nearby cox Joanna wants to get hamster food. Inside, we looked at hamsters [aw my long dead hamster. D:   mum doesn’t want me to get another hamster le… zz] and guinea pigs and rabbits and puppies. xD   After stoning there for quite some time, said byes to Serena and Azreen while Joanna, Reuben and I went to West Coast Plaza to roam around. The Nike Factory Outlet has a very nice bag with a very nice price tag: $69.90. D:

Walked around and sort of window shopped. Bought Age of Empires Collector’s Edition on impulse cox have been finding it for quite some time. It’s only $19.90, a fraction of what it’ll cost if I buy all 4 games included inside separately. :D

Said byes to Reuben while Joanna and I took the same bus, 30, home. I alighted a stop before the expressway and said byes to Joanna.

That’s about all for Wednesday.

 

Thursday:

Slept at 2am cox couldn’t sleep and almost couldn’t wake up at 5am. Called Gary and he said wake him at 6am, which I did. Then I myself woke at 6.20 something. Missed a bus because I just remembered I need to get the camera and had to trouble Gary’s grandma to get the house keys to get the camera from his room. D:

Reached JE and met up with Freida. Took a very long and sleepy bus ride to raffles place there. Went to Julien Bompard at Ascott Raffles Place for breakfast buffet. Seems like it is a bad choice. D:

We got free flow of bread, tea/coffee. Then had an omelet each and crispy bacon too. Then at the buffet line, which is quite short, there is chicken congee, some bread thing [I forgot what it’s called], scrambled eggs, cut fruits, and selection of cereals with choice of either fresh [cow] milk or soya milk to go with it.

But all these for $28++, which came up to about $33 per pax for us, not worth la huh? D:

Something very embarrassing happened to me. I was refilling the tea from the small teapot, I think my subconscious assumed it was lidless or the lid is attached with a hinge or something. Basically I ignored the fact that the lid is separate and can fall out, which it did, which made the 2 of them laugh like nuts. D:

Another thing is, because I forgot to go to the ATM beforehand to get extra cash AND assumed that they accept NETS, after the three of us pile our money together, we’re still short of $4. D:

So I brisk walked to Lau Pa Sat [which the service personnel and the both of them thought I ran since I came back very fast] and back with fresh notes from the ATM to pay the bill and get out of the place ASAP.

Walked to the Starbucks nearby cox Gary wanted to get a drink. We got out very quickly cox Freida was like “Ok, let's go!” in a very loud whisper. Got out and realized the strange guy using facebook on this laptop beside us was always turning and staring at us for no particular reason, which Gary who sit almost opposite him didn’t realize till we tell him. -.-“

Went to the Esplanade and got loads of aircon. Shiok. The weather was killing us, we didn’t know what other stuff it will do to us later. D:

Walked over to marina square and roamed around abit. Gary went to the boxing [and other sports] store and then we stoned at McDonald’s. D:

Was always deciding where to go next. Zz  And it was here that they start to get permanent ear damage due to some screeches as well as find out about the ‘hidden’ burst mode which was there in the camera since forever. D:

Took train to Bugis, walked to Kampong Glam where I got my battery for camera. It was a NEED, cox I don’t have extra battery and next week there’s BA_COMM camp for 4days, so definitely need extra batt. It was melting-ly hot to and from there. Went to Iluma to window shop and explore the new mall and get loads of aircon. :D

Iluma is quite boring for now… Well not all the shops are opened as well… And the arcade there is horrendously boring. It doesn’t even have the ‘basic’ of Daytona… D:

Went over to Bugis Junction to get our dried bodies a drink at Cold Storage and went more window shopping. After quite some time of deliberating, decided to walk to Esplanade there to take a bus to Botanic Gardens. [Yes say we’re crazy]

Spotted a 106 from a bus stop but didn’t manage to catch it, at the next 106, the bus driver say we must go to another bus stop. D:

So we walked through the war memorial where Gary got a shot and walked to Esplanade to get aircon again. Then took bus 77 to Botanical Gardens, we each had an aircon vent on the bus to ourselves. xDD

Botanical Gardens was basically roaming with a pathfinder called Gary and stopping by at maps at times to confirm our way, and of course load of snapping of pictures, which will be posted up soon.

One of the incident we kena there is…..

 

Imagine this: Walking eagerly up a pavilion in hopes of getting some random group shots and self portraits and whatever and while walking up the steps, time slows down. At the corner of the eye, you spot something black, then you notice shape, then you realize it is two people, and then horror of horrors, you caught them red handed doing stuffs that is not supposed to be done in public. And you, with your friends already up in the pavilion, have to treat it like nothing happened, talk randomly, take some random shots and then your friend, Freida, says in a loud whisper “Ok, let's go!” and you and your friends run off as soon as you went in. [Note, in our case they are both fully clothed. Which is good.]

 

Epic.

 

Anyway, we sat at a bench near the pavilion in hopes that they will realize their folly and go away. Because tourists are gathering, photographers armed with DSLRs are taking photos and wedding couples are having their photos taken near the pavilion and we’re looking at them from afar.

 

They didn’t budge.

 

So we took shots with the timer with the camera on the ground. Looking up, the leaves up above makes us feel that we’re not in Singapore…. Relaxing indeed. :D

Decided they won’t budge even if a nuclear warhead is to explode there and then, we roamed around. Got to some desert themed place and took pics. Then was the bonsai place and took some more pics. Also took a series of pics titled “If you think HongWei is tall, think again.” conceptualized by Gary. :D

After sometime, we got to the Official Entrance of Botanical Gardens. After refreshing ourselves, realized there was no bus service outside it. D:   So had to walk, albeit a shorter distance, all the way back to where we came in from, the Tanglin Gate, to take bus. D:

Took 77 in the end and went to Bukit Timah Hawker there… Freida treated the both of us, both starving souls, to a bowl of tangyuan. :D   Thanks! :D

Took bus 66 back to Jurong East, a long journey indeed, damn draggy….

Was out for almost 12 hours… NTS.

Well at least I enjoyed it and hope Gary and Freida both enjoyed it. :D

Was out half studying at Yuhua 24hrs Macs.

Sort of got to know a couple, who shared plug with me to watch movie on their laptop, supposedly some Fast and Furious movie since I heard the screeching of brakes lol...

Why sort of know leh? Cox we never intro each other but just help each other take care of stuffs.

Before that, there was a girl using the plug. After observing for 10min [while eating my McFlurry] I concluded that she'll stay for quite some time since her past year papers are from Ngee Ann Poly... So bought a multi plug at a freakin' $4.80. zzz

And BEST, when she was unplugging her plug, she adjusted the multi plug abit which made it powerless, which made my com shut down abruptly due to no power. DAMN.

My face was emotionless but inside my head was WTFWTFWTFWTFWTF. Yes, damn pekchek when you're trying to study then everything just gone.

Well, kept myself awake with some green tea from Macs.. Then at 1+am, was quite tired so slept for 30min from 1.30 to 2am.  Woke up and stone and try to study till around 4.30 am I went to get my breakfast. LOL

Shiok sia, my hashbrown is the 1st hashbrown they fry for the day. :D

Which means its very very fresh. :D

Was listening to Class 95fm, which Macs always play, and heard some advertisements and was laughing to myself while listening. Seriously, THOSE are proof of REAL education.

Wow.

Studied till a little over 6am and decided to go home. Slept on the 98 bus and din realised I reach the interchange till the bus captain shouted 'Hello, HELLO!' like alot of times. And I was at the lower deck beside the exit. D:   So paiseh.

Took bus 143 and overslept one stop. So found a bench near the block of flats there and sleep somemore. Around 7am, decided to get up and walk home, not really far distance since its the same distance I walk to school during pri sch...

The only difference is I am half awake, on many instances I almost fell but didn't. Phew.

Almost couldn't cross the road.. D:

Got home, slept from 7.30am to 9.30am and woke up, stone, bathed, watch tv awhile and went to school.

ATRM common test was okay except for the theory, which I totally crapped. D:

Sch was okok.. Just that everyone's brain spoil. D:

Went IMM to find Gary and Nelson after I had tang yuan at Clementi.

They're playing Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce and I did not bring my psp. D:

Stoned down there till Gary decided that there's no chance to get plug from those ppl hogging the plugs, so we went JEL. I used com and they played psp.

Chionged BCOMM2 and LAM. Brain spoil ttm.

Stupid mouth of mine, luckily I redeemed myself.

Gary's hair model for his exam pangseh-ed him, he found one yesterday night. I asked what could be the worst/best that could happen today. 

The freakin' worst happened.

The other person he has found pangseh-ed him last minute.

If not for Luca who contacted me, I would have bang wall die.

Called like free to everyone and then finally found a person.

Thanks lots to Freida! I owe you a meal! :D

Friday:  

ISP is done. Work was..... zz  Wasted four freakin' hours to go to the 'HQ' of another company to listen to bullshit. Well at least not everything was bullshit, only one is not bullshit.

What he told us is: To be sadistic.  

I'll see how you interpret it. hahahah

Wasted my time and potential $ seriously. Opportunity cost not worth at all.

Saturday:

NDP was FUN!!!   Except for the dance moves which I totally suck at. Must practice more and coordinate my arms and legs. It does not feel like they're mine when trying to dance. -.-"

Saw my ex-colleague at WCP McD there, he's like manning the mini refreshment booth of water and biscuits for us. Yes, he's in the army. lol

Went for '十字路口' or food junction as they call it at Bedok Hawker there.. So suay we sat in front of that Laksa stall. -.-"  Stupid.

I don't know if he noticed me but his laksa [yes we bought it] was not hot [as in chilli hot] at all, as usual.

Our food all link back into a loop , Wenwei's idea.

After the food, [wah its seriously shiok.] went to Redhill with 3 of them [cox I have like alot of time till work] and then took bus to Queensway for work.

Work was good, the DVD made it less mundane.

Sunday:

Slept in till 10am.. Watched TV till 1pm and chionged for work.

Work, makan, Work, Home.

On the way home, as in after I alighted from 197, I have to walk the path down to the bus stop where I have to take another bus, I was walking uber fast..

Then suddenly, this woman in front of me, like 1m in front of me, suddenly stopped and turned back and almost screamed. She pointed to somewhere in front.

In politically correct terms: A dark skinned foreigner is lying on the grass, motionless.

In laymen terms: A bangala is lying on the grass, motionless.

Basically the woman thought that its a dead person.

I don't know if I'm right - I didn't approach the guy - I just said that I think that guy was either sleeping or intoxicated and thus was lying on the grass motionless.

I think if he is indeed a dead person, I will be emotionless. DDD:

How often do you see a lone person lying on the grass, just beside the pavement, eyes closed and motionless?

My aunt is like at Japan now for 2 weeks filming some mediacorp variety show..

And when she gets back, I don't think I will get internet cox she's definitely busy editing for the show..

So I'll have to leech internet somewhere else. But then going out means needing money to makan which I don't really have.

Oh my salary you mean? Its going to repay debts and buying a backpack to relieve my aching shoulders and back.

I'm like too tall for my own good, even sweeping the floor gives me backaches.

Finding people to sell is hard. Somemore I need a small container to put my sample to let people try. Its uber effective I must say.

Stupid man, totally forgot I had work this sunday till yesterday when I went work and recalled. zz

If I don't have work I can go Pulau Ubin for the 1st time in my life and [uni]cycle the whole place, which JH and Shaun they all reckon it to be about 20km? lol

So wasted.

NDP's gonna kill off my MRT fares. I'm already negative 3 cents. zz

Oh well, I seriously hope, wish, pray that I can go get quarantined or something, whether I have the H1N1 or not I don't care. I just wanna be quarantined and be allowed to think and calm my mind and [hopefully] there's internet and I get to use it. I also wanna study there since there isn't much to do since if I'm quarantined I will be inside the house all day.

MOH! Come quarantine meeeeeee!!!!

Talked to Yishan on msn yesterday.. Haha had so much to talk about lor. Even though we like long time never talk to each other..

But then I must get a first aid cert. Anybody has any ideas where to get the cert?

And I need to practice unicycling. It's been weeks since I touched it. D:

I'm so neglecting my studies. ATRM will be so screwed. BCOMM as well. D:

I hope I get to have people who are willing to listen to a presentation, then I can practice my BCOMM skills as well. :D

Week 4 is ending.

So screwed. D:

Tuesday was Peiyun's birthday. Wished her but dunno why she replied via her younger brother's handphone lol.

Yesterday was Zhihao's birthday. Apparently a lot of peoples' birthday falls on the 14th of May. While preparing for presentation at Canteen 1, there's also a group of people celebrating birthday for their friend.

Luckily I didn't look that nervous during presentation. D:

But other than some glitch, the teacher was happy with our presentation! :D

This couldn't be possible without you all.

Expected to starve till 10pm at night, so with my $3 for lunch and dinner, I went co-op and bought a snickers bar and one packet of soy milk. Went bus stop and saw HuiYock. lol

He said if wanna lunch or not, I said if you lend me some money lor. 

Yay, I got lunch! Won't starve anymore. He recommended a carrot cake stall that is really really good. :D

Went to work after that and saw Leanne, Renee and Darren near Anchorpoint. They went IKEA to have meatballs.. xD   I haven't tried them... Don't think I ever will. D:

Work was okay, dinner break at 4.30pm was cui. I had 95cents left. Not even enough to buy one bread ice cream from the hawker outside queensway. In the end bought some tidbits from inside queensway and ate at one of the benches inside Anchorpoint.

Saw my ISP classmate. Such a coincidence lor lol. His mum bought him a shirt...

After work, took 197 to cycle and carriage there and walk down to the church. Boarded 143 and saw Yulian and Daniel. Long time no meet already. Talked for that short bus trip.. :D

Home and rest.
